SEN Teaching Assistant in The Acorn Centre, Pinner Wood School
Do you have a passion to work with children?
An opportunity has arisen to work in our newly-established ARMS provision, The Acorn Centre. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to become part of our passionate and committed SEN team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to work with children with SEND.
You may be an experienced TA with a keen interest in supporting children with significant SEND or a graduate looking at gaining experience before embarking on teacher training or an Educational Psychology qualification.
Start: ASAP
Contact: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hrs 8.30 – 3.30 hrs (Monday – Friday); term-time only; 39 weeks per year
Salary: £19,594 actual plus SEN allowance
Closing date: Friday 27th September at midday (or as soon as a suitable candidate is found)

JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a passionate play coordinator who will work across lunchtime from 11.30 -2 pm daily. You will be responsible for planning, supporting and facilitating purposeful play for our whole school. You will lead on our OPAL (Outdoor, Play and Learning) initiative. The play co-ordinator will be responsible for leading, directing and training the play workers in the team to best support our provision.
We are looking for an inspiring individual who is committed to developing the whole child and support child wellbeing through the medium of play. This post would be suitable for someone with experience of working with children within the ages 4 -11. It is a good role for someone who is looking for a step into teaching or who has time to give across lunchtime.
