School Council
The children at Pinner Wood take pride in running their own school council. This ensures that they have a real ‘voice’ and they are able to express their views about how we shape the school for the future. They have been consulted on issues such as changes to the uniform and recently they requested cycle training and cycle sheds so that children are able to take the healthy option and ride to school safely. The council regularly choose charities to support and organise fund raising and fun events for everyone to enjoy such as come to school in your pyjamas day! Each class from Year 2 to Year 6 votes for two school council representatives and the group meets once a month. Their photographs and the minutes of their meetings are displayed in the main entrance.
