School Closure Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are writing to update you regarding the gas supply issue at the school.
An engineer attended the site today and carried out investigations; however, unfortunately the fault could not be repaired at this time. We have been advised that a replacement part is required and has now been ordered.
We have been informed that the necessary repair work is expected to be completed tomorrow. As a result, the school will remain closed to all pupils tomorrow, Wednesday 4 November. We are hopeful that the issue will be resolved and that the school will be able to reopen as normal on Thursday 5 November, but we will confirm this as soon as possible.
We are very sorry that the issue has not yet been resolved and recognise the significant inconvenience that this continued closure will cause for many families. We understand the challenges of making alternative childcare and work arrangements at such short notice, and we sincerely apologise for the ongoing disruption.
To support children with their learning while the school is closed, optional activities have been posted on Seesaw by your child's teacher.
We are very sorry for the continued disruption and understand how frustrating this situation is. Thank you so much for your support, patience and understanding today. We truly appreciate it.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding while we work to resolve this situation.
Kind regards,
Jo Bretayne, David Bower, Tuli Palit
